A test, also called the SAT-9, that is officially known as the "Stanford Achievement Test, Ninth Edition Form T" and is published by Harcourt Brace Educational Measurement. It is a standardized, nationally normed, multiple-choice test that measures basic skills in math, reading English, and other areas. The Stanford-9 was adopted by California in 1997 for a five-year period as its statewide student performance test in grades 2-11. It was replaced by the CAT/6 in 2003.
