A core part of EdSource's work is to help journalists covering education in California.

We do this in several ways, including:

• Offering free password-protected online access to all EdSource publications to members of the media.
• Providing clear background information and statistics on our website to help inform your reporting.
• Making our research staff available to answer specific questions about current issues as well as provide referrals to other experts and resources.

We also would urge reporters new to education to find out more about services provided by the Hechinger Institute and the Education Writers Association.
