The California State Lottery has provided less than 2% of K–12 education revenues during the past 12 years

As the graph below shows, the lottery makes a small contribution to K–12 education revenues in California. Beginning in 2007–08, the lottery has accounted for 1.2% of total K–12 revenues, or about $800 million per year.
