California Community College Students Enrolled in Credit Basic Skills Courses
Credit basic skills courses are intended to prepare California community college (CCC) students for further postsecondary study at the college level. In 2007-08, 339,231 students enrolled in these courses. The chart below, adapted from EdSource's 2010 Resource Cards on California Education, shows the breakdown by age.
