Louis Freedberg
Louis Freedberg joined EdSource as executive director in July 2011. He has analyzed and reported on California education issues for more than two decades. Among other positions, he was a co-founder of California Watch and was on the editorial board of the San Francisco Chronicle. He is currently looking at new strategies for closing the achievement gap, the impact of the current economic crisis on school performance, and developing new ways to engage Californians in the education crisis facing the state. ~ Contact Louis Freedberg or follow him on Twitter.
