Current Budget
On May 14, 2012 Governor Jerry Brown released the "May Revision" of his proposal for the 2011-12 California budget.
In a video announcement a few days earlier, the governor said the state's budget deficit was now nearly $16 billion, up significantly from the $9 billion he estimated in January when he first released his budget. For more information, please see:
