Budget & Funding

This section provides information about California's education budget. It includes information on the current budget, and information about funding in prior years.

This year, after the longest delay in in California history, policymakers in Sacramento enacted a budget in late September. However, one month later,  the governor has called for a special legislative session to once more discuss the 2008-09 budget.
