Resources – Algebra Policy in California
Our May 2009 report, Algebra Policy in California: Great Expectations and Serious Challenges, focuses on California's evolving expectations, policies, and debates about when students should take Algebra I. It explores the current state of algebra achievement in California and discusses some of the big questions raised by the goal of ensuring earlier algebra success for all students.
Due to space constraints, we were unable to include in the report the following, full list of resources related to this topic, which includes both national and California-specific information.
