School Finance Highlights 2007-08

K-14 education received a status quo budget this year, with funding at a level that provides a cost-of-living adjustment for virtually all state programs. However, it does not take into account the increasing performance and financial pressure districts face. This two-page summary focuses on the money budgeted for schools, highlights some of the challenges, and looks at funding projections for the near-future.
