EdSource Today is an independent, nonpartisan forum that responds in a timely way to key policies, trends, innovations and major challenges in education in California and beyond.

Its mission is to promote critical thinking and inform public policy on critical challenges facing educators and political leaders through in-depth discussion and reporting, in addition to clarifying key education issues for policy makers, educators, the media and the general public.

Key elements include online posts featuring accurate, in-depth reporting and analysis, along with commentary and opinion pieces clearly marked as such by contributors who offer diverse perspectives based on their expertise and experience in education. We welcome many points of view, as well as comments to our posts.
