Pamela Martineau
Pamela Martineau, a freelance writer in Davis, has been a journalist for more than 20 years. For most of her career, she worked as a senior writer at the Sacramento Bee, where she covered education, military affairs, local government and general features, winning national awards for her reporting and writing. Previously, she wrote for the Sacramento Union and local daily newspapers in Davis, Fairfield and Caracas, Venezuela. A former educator, Pamela has taught English as a second language in Wuhan, China, and high school English literature in the United States. She holds a bachelor’s degree in English from UC Berkeley and a secondary school teaching credential, also from UC Berkeley.
